has anyone ever setup cyrus murder?

I have multiple imap servers and one directory. I’m trying to avoid splitting the users A-F = imap1, G-S = Imap2, etc,…

i tried a dns round robin, and that went to foo.
I tried to share the db’s via raid, and that was just bad.

so I’m looking into setting up murder with a a single name ” imap “, and have all my users go there, yet distribute the load elswere. webmail included.

am i looking for trouble or should I just build 4 independant mail systems and break up the transport in LDAP?

-any info would be helpful.
