FTP for virtual domains

In Jaguar I used ProFTP in place of Apple’s FTP to simplify the process of setting up ftp access for the domains I host on my server. In Panther, I am just as confused and wonder, should I go back to ProFTP or am I missing something?

I gave up on all of it and plunked down the cash for Webstar.
