I have heard it is possible, but how can you perform SMTP AUTH with Exim against the Netinfo database? Furthurmore, what if you have a password server? I tried doing an nidump passwd . and i got ***** for all of my passwords, due to the PWS. So, if any one has any idea as to how to integrate the NetInfo database into SMTP Auth, that would be great.
Alternatively, is there a way of using/encrypting the /etc/relayers file so the user’s password is not in clear text? This is an obvious secuirty issue.
