I have a 10.4.11 Tiger Server and multiple 10.5.5 clients. When they connect to the server and try to create a folder the permissions on the folder are owner (themselves) (read/write) admin read and everyone read. When the user tries to change the permissions for everyone from read to none via the Finder. All of the permissions go to none and they get locked out of the folder. Has anyone heard of this before?

No, the user uses a local account. No AD or OD. They use the connect to server option in finder to connect
