Error of type -14135 on line 1127 of PMMUGMainView.mm

I get the error above when trying to create new users from WM. I use OpenDirectory on MacOSX server.
So, there is no way to get out from this error.

Strangely I can work with the LDAP server if I use external clients (SOFTERRA has a very nice LDAP client interface app. for OSX) and can create new users that I can later modify with WM.

Does anyone have an idea on how to fix this error?

I did not modify the schema, only introduced a new group of users (CN=PEOPLE) as already defined within the schema. That action messed up the directory, apparently. I tried then to remove PEOPLE and the result was that from WGM I’m no longer able to define new users in CN=USERS. But can do it from outside WGM.

Do I have to reinstall everything from scratch? or there is a way to fix this?
