entourage with verisign ssl certificates

I’ve tried everything on the web for this and still get a an error stating it cannot establish a secure connection due to the root ca, but I’ve installed it with microsoft cert and keychain access. no different. The dns name in the certificate matches the one on our cluster. Still nothing and also imail does the same thing, so it appears to me its the way mac os x 10.3.9 access the root ca and I don’t know where it stores the root ca on the client side because it sure isn’t where keychain access puts it or microsoft cert. Any help would be appreciative becuase I’ve tried everything I could find on the web and no luck. Also when I view certificate in Imail it
is getting the old certificate and not the one that I put in with keychain access. Any Ideas

come on does anyone know the solution to this problem. seems to be an os problem if Imail is producing same error?

I just ran into something similar. Do you have the DNS name or the IP address in the mail server entry under Entourage? The name in the entry field must match the certificate or no go so no IP addresses.
