Enabling IMAP in PHP

I’ve installed osTicket on my Leopard Server, and it works great, except for receiving emails. When setting up, I get the error:

[quote]IMAP doesn’t exist. PHP must be compiled with IMAP enabled.[/quote]

I tried installing MacPorts, and it ran the installer, and nothing seemed to have happened. I go into the Terminal and type [code]man port[/code] only to find that there’s no manual entry for port.

Any ideas on getting this up and running?
