Dumb Permissions Question

My mind is totally mush….

How do I setup a shared folder so that a group of users have access to the folder, but only own and can view the stuff they create?

Not sure this is possible. If they are group members that have read/write access to the dir all the files by default will inherit these permissions (unless I’m missing something in what you are asking).

Are you looking as POSIX permissions or ACLs?
