    I am trying to aviod syncing dot files in portable home directories (particularly things like .bashrc which is causing me not end of headaches). I have tried adding:

    Full Path ~/.
    and
    Full Path ~/.*

    to the ‘Skip items that match’ in the mobility preferences, but so far no luck (the darn things keep syncing). Any ideas?

    Adding Full Path ~/. to Background Sync worked for me.
