    Hi All,

I’m looking for a solution which would disable thick box “Remember password in keychain” when using “Apple+K” to mount network volumes. Some students will never learn and keep storing the passwords on workstations where they are forced to use one common local account (i.e. workstations with ProTools HD which won’t function correctly if roaming accounts are used).

So far, the only sollution that works is changing acces to /Library/Keychains/login.keychain to Read Only.

What I would like to achieve is not having the option to “Remember password in keychain” at all, all grayed out or something similar … The goal would be a solution which allows me to use WorkGroupManager to disable this for group of computers.

    Any idea anyone?

    Many Thanks.

It wouldn’t disable the feature, but you could have a startup script that removes the keychain file. It’s stored in ~/Library/Keychains/.
