Deleted User reappears?

Hi all,
I must be missing something simple, but this is driving me nuts. Did a quick search, but couldn’t find anything here about it. I’ve got an OD user that I need to delete. I open WGM and delete the user, they no longer show up in the user list in WGM… But if I quit WGM and reopen, the user is back. Also, I can’t recreate the user as WGM says the user exists. Any ideas? Setting up a new server and just need to change the short name for this user. Thought it’d be a quick and easy delete/recreate. Now, I am using OD to bind computers with, and this user has logged into a computer before. Could that be part of the problem? Do I need to unbind the computer, delete the account, and then rebind?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Figured it out… Long standing bug the internet says… 🙂 Change the password type of the user to delete to Crypt, save, then delete. Works fine. Weird.
