I’m posting this message here because it seems like the most logical place and I’ve had some luck on this list.

With a central kerberos/ad environment, we need a place where users who do not know or have forgotten there password can go to retrieve their password (for the entire enterprise).

We have a secure page that will work. So the question is how do we create a “guest”/retrieve password user account so that the user can only login to a single web page, change their password, and be forced out after a certain time.

I have seen the apple tech notes about killing all of the menu bars, but it sounded like the only way to set up a browser in “kiosk” mode was to use iCab (which cost money).

I thought that I heard that there was some developer tool that allowed you to create a simple web application that would only
point the user to a single site.

Any ideas or examples out there?

    Thanks
