createUser and Snow Leopard

What is the status of using createUser on 10.6? I saw a thread a while back where someone was working on updating the package, and then some folks said it was working in 10.6. But even with the latest revision from SVN (270), the createUser package is still not allowing itself to be run on 10.6.

Anyone have a solution for this? If not, can someone tell me what the known issues are? I’m perfectly happy to work on it myself, if I know where to start 🙂

Yeah, sorry, this is more confusing than it should be. https://www.afp548.com/filemgmt/visit.php?lid=101 is where you can download the correct version of createUser for SnowLeopard. Let us know if it’s still not working for you,

As an update…

The versions of createUser in AFP548’s MyDownloads and InstaDMG are now in sync, please checkout the newest version of InstaDMG from svn, revision 272.

That’s great! Thank you so much for the help, Allister. It looks like the 1.0.3 createUser version is working perfectly for me. And a little more digging found the answer to the problem with Office Updates that I was having as well.

At this rate, I’m going to have our new deployment image locked down in the next week. InstaDMG is saving me easily a hundred hours of work at this point.
