For what it’s worth:
I work in an AD/OD environment with user home folders that reside on Apple file servers. I realized the need for Bulk home folder creation from AD accounts. It is very basic but i have created a script that will read in an export from AD (using dsexport to a windows csv file containing saMAccount names) that will read in the .csv and create bulk user home directories on a server and set user permissions from AD. Pretty simple to use, but will require being logged into the file server as the root user. It allows you to point to the share and choose the .csv with the saMAccount names. Sorry for the improper grammar but i am very tired while typing this :-P. If you would like the script feel free to email me at [email protected] or [email protected]. I feel your pain on the matter, hence why i am offering this out to any and all that can use it. Also have a few other scripts i have wrote from rebinding to new domains from an existing domain with the same machine name to scripts that will get rid of that dang keychain message users get when changing there password. I’m here to help and hope many others are here for the same reason.
