‘Create Home Now’ Not working

Hello

We ve setup a 10.5.1 Server in Advanced mode. During OD setup, weve set the place for the users home folders to a second shared disk on the server, shared via AFP and automounts-use for homes, on.

Do we have to use only the folder /Users for home folders? I think not but I may be wrong.

Well, then on the Home tab of a user, we have 3 places. The none, the Users and the folder weve created. In each place, when we hit the Create Home Now, it starts digging, and it says that an error occured.

Do we have to set some special permissions in the folder that will be used for the home folders?

Well OK. It worked (the Create Home Now). I stopped and started over the AFP service.
