I have a situation with a client’s OS 10.3.9 server. It was previously bound to active directory on a Windows 2003 Small Business Server. Apparently the original A.D. was corrupt and then removed before the OS X server was unbound. I was hired to straighten out the mess. Now the OS X active directory plugin won’t allow me to unbind because the original username & password were part of the corrupt deleted directory.

My experience with A.D. is very limited. I’ve been proceeding very cautiously. Is there something like a config file I could edit or delete on the OS X server to unbind it? Will I need to reinstall OS X server? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Dennis

Thanks for your help. I was able to reset the plug-in and bind to the AD. I’ve got another basic question I’ll post as a separate thread.

    Cheers,
