I have just recently set up a SLS and I am having issues connecting to the server through finder using the connect as user button. This works on all of my clients running 10.6, however all the clients running 10.5 first need to connect to server with their user name and password even if they are logged into the OD account. I get a message saying that the server is not available and the IP address needs to be checked. However, if I connect to server first this way of connecting to the share points works fine. I am using kerberos as the authentication method. I was under the impression that once an user logs into their account via the login window they should be able to just click on the server in the finder and automatically be connected. This is how it works on my 10.6 clients but not on the clients running 10.5. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
