Changing outgoing SMTP port

If I’m running OSX server 10.3.x as my mail server on a DSL line and the ISP blocks outgoing 25, can I change the port that my server sends out email on to go around it? Will other mail servers still receive the email if the originating server sent it out on an alternate port? And how do I change the outgoing port on the server? Thanks in advance for any help.
