Apple OS 10.2.6 Server. Default install then applied system updates.

    Hello,

I open WorkGroup Manager then I choose /LDAPv3/-ipaddr- Then it asks me to login. I type my administrator name and password. Workgroup manager replies back that the login information is not valid for this server. So I try logging in as root. I get the same alert. I then try it logging in remotely. Still no luck there. It seems that I don’t have permission to get into the server.
The openldap service has definitly started. If someone can tell me how to fix this it is greatly apreciated.

    Thanks in advance 🙂

I am having the exact same issues. I think we need to compare notes. What kind of system are you running?

    My Details:

    Xserve DP1 GHz
    512 RAM
    Dual NIC
    2 160 GB HDD

My problems seem to come specifically after I have reset the machine. For some strange reason, all of my services are also activating, even when I have not specifically enabled them in the Open Directory Assistant.. Anything odd happening on your end?
