    I get this message when executing instadmg.bash:

    11:53:27 ###### InstaDMG build initiated ######
    InstaDMG version 1.6b2 (svn revision: 266)
    Host OS: Mac OS X 10.6
    Host Hardware: iMac8,1
    Output file name: 10-04-21.dmg
    Output disk name: InstaDMG
    11:53:27 ###### Finding main MacOS X installer disk ######
    ###### Unable to find primary installer disk ######
    11:53:27 ###### Cleaning up ######
    Restoring normal installd daemon
    Ejecting images

    The “OSX 10.6.dmg” file I put in /InstallerFiles/BaseOS/ is a manually created image that worked in InstaDMG 1.5. The DMG file was manually renamed from “Mac OSX Installer Disk”. Also, I yanked the InstaUp2Date subfolder from AddOns, since I don’t want to use it (It’s WAY easier to manage my 35 pkgs by dragging & dropping them vs. crafting a catalog file.)

    Any theory on why InstaDMG won’t use the OS installer image?

    It needs to be “Mac OS X Install Disc”. You have two mistakes in your line (at least as you wrote it here):

    Installer-> Install
    Disk-> Disc

    Or you could bypass this by using the -I (sounds like eye) flag and specifying the path to the image.
