I am unable to connect to my Xserve via AFP. When I try I get an error which says:
    Connection Failed
Unknown user, incorrect password, or login is disabled. Please retypr the name and password or contact the server’s administrator.

I know the issue is with Kerberos becaus if I destroy the ticket using Kerberos.app and the try and connect an Authenticate to Kerberos window pops up and wants my password. Entering my password results in the same error but hitting cancel brings up a standard AFP authentication window and I can loggin that way.

FYI, the Xserve is an OD Master and setup to AD using Golden Triangle and that works fine and Managed Prefs work fine.

The only change recently was pointing Xserve to new DNS serves but DNS is working forward and reverse.

How can I reset Kerberos on the server?

Just wanted to add that Kerberos is showing running on the OD Overview page.

I am having the same issue with two 10.4.4 servers I have just bound to AD. These are simple member servers, using AD only, i.e. no OD.
Are you attempting to login as your AD account?

Also a bit more info about your setup would be appropriate here.
The problem has been solved but to answer the question, yes I was loggin in with my AD account. The issue turned out to be DNS. We are moving facilities next week so there is a lot of back-end preperation going on. One of them being new DNS servers that I was unaware of. Its been said many time before on these boards so let this be a testament to the fact that DNS is key. DNS DNS DNS DNS, burn it into your brain Wink

    Thanks all.
