I have a IMAP mail account that many users share. I created custom Folders that i’d like to lock in some way so they can’t be remove by accident (it happened twice already). If i use the folder “Lock” in Get info or chflags uchg /var/spool/imap/user/Path/ (same thing i know lol) I get a System I/O error from the Mail.app when i try to drag a e-mail to the locked folder.
Basically I need the users to be able to all read and access the IMAP e-mail account at the same time and be able to move e-mails freely from one folder to another on the same IMAP account && not be able to delete the IMAP Folders I created for the workflow.

Is the remote IMAP server running Cyrus? You could use cyradm to set access permissions.
