I am running 10.5.2 and serving up a couple of NetBoot and NetInstall images.
Is there a way to hide the NetBoot shares from the list of available directories when someone connects to the server via AFP, SMB, etc.?

I know it doesn’t hurt anything to have them appear, but if I wanted all of my interfaces cluttered and filled with pointless options, I’d be using Windows.

Also, I’m not trying to hide them in the file system on the server, just from appearing as available options when connecting to the server.

    Thanks.

I’m looking for a way to do this too. I just wanted to add these keywords so this page was easier to find from google.

    hide NetBootClients0 share
    hide NetBootSP0 share
