I am not sure if this is possible, but perhaps after I explain my goals a better and feasible solution can be described should that be the case.

I am still building my lovely perfect mail server, currently configured are Exim, Courier, Mailman, and Spam Assassin with ClamAV and Squirrel Mail waiting for next week.

I have some mail lists I would like to set up that I want to be announcement lists with no chance that they can be hijacked. This is vitally important in one of these lists. What I would like to do is have a PHP form that is behind a realm and SSL where the email message can be sent from, passed by Exim to Mailman who gets it only because it is receiving it from the local IP address on a trusted account. I want it to deny any other type of potential input from external IP addresses, other accounts etc.

Basically I want to have the most anal level of security that there is no chance unauthorized people can send messages to this list.

Thanks in advance for any feedback!
