awful week

Can anybody help?

This week, my server (tiger, afp, 200 home folders) decided to treat me to a horrible week.

All sharepoints could not be found in WGM. My startup backup disc was behaving in an identical way.

All logins failed- “because of an error”

I had to delete and re-make all 200 user accounts

I had to re-do the permissions of every home folder, and propagate.

Any reason why this sort of thing would happen?
