We are currently going through the test phase of moving from a AD based network to an OD based network and one of the problems we are having is getting our NAS devices to connect to OD. They do connect and you can SSH, set permissions, etc. using OD users and passwords but we can not figure out the correct settings for getting SMB to work on them.
The NAS machines are nothing special just Ubuntu 9.10 running (trying anyway) Samba Server. We have poured over the Internet and a lot of the guides we are finding are mostly for connecting a Samba Server to AD.
Does anyone know the correct settings or know where to point us to find the information?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
