We’re trying to set up our Linux hosts to authenticate against our Open Directory install. I’m just wondering what the easiest way to add them to Open Directory / the kerberos realm is. Should I just use kadmin to do it, or is there some way to create the principals by adding the machine to Workgroup Manager? Currently it doesn’t appear to do anything other than create some entries in LDAP.

Both. Also, users will be logging on to the Linux workstations from their macs and I intend to have ticket forwarding happening there..
