Currently, I have a central copy of phpMyAdmin installed set to authenticate via browser authentication. The phpMyAdmin folder is in a realm allowing Read access to a OD group. Therefore, each user can login and only see database for which they have privilegs… perfect ISP style.

However, I have to add each user in phpMyAdmin and assign them access to the database I create for them. This requires me to know their password so it matches, and if they update their OD password, their access to phpMyAdmin is busted.

Would love to just have MySQL look at OD for authentication.

    Hi,
If you don’t mind, please send me an email with instruction how to set up basic central copy to [email protected]
    Thanks a million,
    Brandon
