    All,
I currently run a multi-user microscopy facility. We have several MAC OS X and Windows XP clients that authenticate against our Xserve which is running as both an OD master and Windows PDC. For billing purposes, I am trying to isolate user login/logout events to calculate duration of usage on our systems. I am aware of the common criteria audit tools and have installed them on our server. I would like to know if anyone has suggestions on how to simplify the audit logs to only record user login/logout events. Further, if anyone has suggestions on a better solution for my project, please let me know.

    Thank you in advance,
    Joshua

I need to know the username, login time, and logoff time of bound clients. The end goal is to develop an automated system for billing users in the facility. I do not need to track anything related to file services ect…
