The release notes for Apple Remote Desktop 3.3 state that “Client settings configurable by Managed Preferences in Workgroup Manager.” Does anyone know how to go about this or what plist to import? I can’t find anything in the 3.3 manual.

I have a working Open Directory with MCX already and we’re trying to get ARD off the ground. If I could configure all the Macs for ARD in one go that would really help us.

    Thanks,

    Hey Fraser,

Rusty in the InstaDMG forum gave me a solution to this – follow the link he put over there: https://www.afp548.com/forum/viewtopic.php?showtopic=24979

Essentially, you can create a shell script that would enable ARD. You could push it out as a login script or some other method via MCX, I think.

    Hope that helps,
    Jason

Fill in the blanks on what user account you want to use it. Let me know if you need any help.
