We have encountered a difference with Applemail on Leopard vs. Tiger that is giving our users fits. Part of our record keeping requires that certain emails be copied and pasted into our database. With Tiger, the entire email, including standard headers could be copied at once. On occasion the headers and body were separate but by selecting View -> Message -> Plain Text Alternative the user could still copy everything at once. I don’t understand what causes that other than the way the email is being rendered by Applemail based on the email content. With Leopard, the behavior is different. The separation between headers and the body is always there. In addition, the selection View -> Message -> Plain Text Alternative is always grayed out. Can anyone tell me why the separation, in the first place, why it displays it that way, why Plain Text Alternative cannot be selected and how to fix the silly thing. TIA.
P.S. Yes, I know it can be done with 2 copies and that is what has the users upset.
