    I have a user with version 3.3 of Applemail (OS X 10.5.2). When the user tries to do a search, the “Entire Message” selection is greyed out. Why can this user not search the entire message? TIA.

    Usually this means that there is no working Spotlight index for the volume that the user’s ~/Library/Mail/ is located on.
    In that case Mail can only search the header fields contained in its own database.
