Well, I think it was rather predictable that Apple would make further dramatic changes to their server software.

I just finished successfully configuring my new mail server, but its using Exim and Courier not Postfix and Cyrus. Not sure if I should stay on the server I have been using for years and hold off the migration or what. I hate to move all the user accounts only to have to move them once again in six months. If I start over and install Postfix and Cyrus IMAP, how will that be effected when I upgrade the server to 10.3?

Well it is interesting. I ran repair disk and repair permissions prior to installing 10.3 server. I had postfix running nicely in the back end with Apple Mail Server handling the delivery. All was fine. Along came 10.3 server and lost all my users, erased my WebServer folder and broke postfix.

So what it will do when you upgrade may be a little like asking… “Apple, when will iPhoto be able to order prints and books outside of the US?” And for that matter what about the iTunes music store for the out of world residents.

As they say “The silence is deafening!”
