Analyzing Amavis logs

In the article Analyzing Amavis logs, rmleonard suggests to get the perl module Getopt::Std installed.

Having just tried this, it wants to update perl to version 5.8.5 in order to do this.

Is this to be expected? I wasn’t expecting to have to upgrade the whole perl installation for this module.

BTW, this is on MacOS X Client.
