    For unknown reasons, my amavisd will no longer run without an attached console. If I do ‘su clamav -c amavisd’ it starts running normally but the ‘su’ command never returns. If I ctrl-C out of it ‘amavisd’ exits. Restarting the computer does not help either. I even tried ‘nohup’ and ‘&’ to no avail. Does someone have any ideas? TIA.
