Alias for email accounts are broke

After updating to 1.1 Apple’s email server reports that the mailboxes for my user aliases don’t exist. Using Workgroup Manager I created aliases for all my users that are firstname.lastname, so the email addresses are more readable than using their shortnames.
Has anyone else had problems with aliases after updating to this latest security patch?

I applied the 1.0 patch and restored from a clone of the disk to recover. With 1.0 nothing worked with email. When 1.1 came out I tried updating to it and just had the alias problem. I’ve recovered from my clone again until I figure out how to fix the alias problem before trying 1.1 again.
