The setup i have is 4 Xservers all running 10.4.2. The head node has a 250GB drive spilt 30 OS and 200 for Users folders and is also the Directory Master. All other nodes are setup as replicas. The problem that i am having is when I set the afp for the home folders to the afp location and not /Users/username/ it will not log me locally on the head node. However i have no problems logging into the other nodes, I am using Apple Remote Desktop.
The other add thing is the when i log in using ARD to one the nodes and then ssh into that same node the AFP mount happens. When i log out of ARD and out then ssh back into the same node the auto mount no longer happens.
If anyone could make some suggestions i would great appreciate it.
