I’m working on the AD-OD sandbox project, and I’m trying to add a Macbook to the AD, but when I try, I get the error “Unexpected error of the type- 14910 (eServerError) occured.” It won’t let me join. Everything that I’ve been finding on this error says “contact your AD admin…well, that’s me and I have no idea what to do.

What is that error and how can I fix it?

I’m doing this on Windows Server 2003 R2 with SP2.

In the sandbox instructions, it says to add a Macbook to the Active Directory to test it and make sure that it’s working properly. That’s what I’m doing. I’m just adding a macbook to the active directory that has been set up.

To be technical, which is probably what you’re looking for, I’m binding a macbook to the Active Directory.

Make sure the time between the server and client are within 3 minutes of each other.

lol yeah, we figured that out and it’s running smoothly now. Thanks for the input though.

Why can’t server errors be normal? “Your clock is wrong! Fix it!” Oh well.

Thanks for all of your help!
