I’m just curious as to what everyone using AD/OD is doing for Home Directories.

Our setup will be for potentially 14000-15000 users.
Users will be logging into both Windows XP and Mac OS X.

We have a centralized SAN mostly dedicated to home directories and file services with a Gig WAN connection back to the san.

I’m guessing my options are as follows:
xServe SAN head(s) hosting kerberized SMB and AFP. Windows clients connect to SMB via the xServe.
Win2k3 Server SAN head hosting SMB. Both Mac and Windows clients connect to it. Only limitation I see is NTFS and Mac files names potentially causing problems
Win2k3 San head hosting SMB for Windows, xServe hosting SMB for Mac’s
    Other options?

    I appreciate your responses.
