AD-OD Integration 10.4 SMB home lock login

Hi

I have a windows 2003 server running AD and hosting homedrives for 700+ users

I have a problem logging in 10.4.4 clients – as soon as users attempt to login the spinning beach ball comes up stays there.
I checked the system.log file and found this error repeated:

Jan 23 14:28:29 OSX104Image automount[817]: Can’t mount winserv.mps.sch:/students on /private/Network/Servers/winserv.mps.sch/students: Invalid argument (22)

A 10.3.9 client is logs in correctly.

On both systems the AD plugin force local homes is disabled.

If I enable the force local homes on the 10.4.4 machine, users can log in ok

Any help will be much appreciated

I had the same problem with at similar error in the log. For me it was solved by changing the security settings on the share on the W2003 srv.
I set everybody r/w, which is no problem when restricting the security on the folders.
