OK we have AD working, it seems that Open Directory users can mount their network home which is created in the designated share point.
AD Users are not so lucky, I don’t know how, but if you log into the AD account on the actual server it logs in fine but the account folder is created on the top level off the boot drive, quite how I do not know.
I have ripped down and setup the system 10 times and AD account persist in not getting their home folder..
I have followed the usual steps to the letter…
My big problem seems to be the creation of the AD Home folder, If I create it for an AD user with WorkGroup Manager it is not used either when loging in locally or from another machine…
It must be really simple but what is it ?
