AD users in WGM, home folder errors…

I've edited this post to make it more concise - same query, less confusion, OSX.3.4 - trying to set up OSX home folders on Xserve for AD users. In AD domain in Workgroup Manager under Account/User/Home I get unexpected errors: type -14137 on line 1197 of UserVolumesPluginView.mm and type -14140 on line 3075 of pmmuGSearchController.mm Xserve is bound to AD, and AD is in Authentication / Contacts. When I login with my AD user, I get a mounted server alias on the desktop that is the Windows server where my Windows folders are stored. I would like all Mac users to login with their AD accounts and have OSX homes on the Xserve. I don't mind if their Windows folders are stored on the Xserve as well. I'm stuck with the errors ... cheers
