At my company we are changing our Active Directory domain name. In testing we are able to get our windows machines to pickup the name change and make the needed changes automatically, as it should being a MS product in an AD environment. Our macs though, it’s a bit of a different story. In testing users can still login as they have mobile accounts, it shows network account unavailable and new users can’t login, but if you login and look at the directory utility it shows the green light and says the server is reachable. Unbind, reboot, and bind to new name and all is glorious. Does anyone know of a way to get this to be closer to the automagical
