    Hi,

I’ve an extended AD (with the OSX portion), but I’ve experiend some difficulties while testing with Lion. Especially the client acquieres only the guest settings, while the same machine acquires the right settings under 10.6. And I was not able to configure settings with the Server Admin Tools in the AD anymore?

So, I would be happy to hear from somebody.

    Bye

WIth what server? Snow Leopard Server or Lion Server when you extended AD? I believe there must be different changes between them. And we should use Lion Server Admin Tools to mange 10.6 and 10.7.

Its an Win 2k8 R2 Server with an Active Directory and its working well with 10.6 or pushing the user, group and computer settings. But until now 10.7 is not gathering the informations from the AD in the same way as 10.6 did before (with 10.7 DP4). And I was not able to use the Admin Tools (10.7 in the 10.7 Server) to edit the Settings in the Active Directory as you could before with 10.6, when it was bound to an AD. So I would ask somebody who has the same setup experienced the same or has some ideas what to change to make the transition as smooth as possible.

Same issues only in a test VM of our production AD domain. I’ve logged a bug report to apple but don’t have my hopes high they will address it. 🙁
