Following the SpamAssassin install tutorial, I have a question. The tutorial says to type “sudo spamd -F0 -d -x” to start up the SpamAssassin process. I found that I have to go to /usr/local/bin, and from there type sudo ./spamd -F0 -x to get it to run.

Also, once I enter this, I get a message the -F option has been removed.

Does this mean I’ve missed something vital?

    Thanks,

I’ve just realized that I probably should have put this in the Exim Installer Section – I hope not too great a gaffe! Any answers to my questions above greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

I would really appreciate an in-depth article on virus scanning on OS X Server such that I don’t ever have to go to the machine to do anything with it.

I have the opportunity to swap out a Win2K server with an Xserve and XRAID, but want to provide the client with some virus scanning. Their desktops will remain Win2K/XP machines, so scanning on the server side is a requirement.

    Thanks!

Never mind. I just found the article.

    Doh!

I think I need another beer to think.
