This is a very bizzare problem. I have an OD share that contains various applications and is AFP mounted on client machines as a workgroup managed item. This problem SEEMS (emphasys on seems) to be limited to Applescripts.

If I create an Applescript on a client machine and save it to that mounted share, as the owner, everything works fine. If I log on a client machine as some other user and look at the Applescript, OS X thinks it is a Classic application. The really interesting thing, is if I log directly on to the OD server as that other user and look at the Applescript on the local drive, it is fine. If I look at it on the mounted share, it is a Classic application.

I don’t have a clue what could be happening. Does anyone have any ideas? TIA.
