EDIT: I just saw the other post. Oy, sorry about the double post….I’ve noted a couple more things but this could easily have been merged into the other post. Sorry

    Hi,

I noticed that a lot of people have tried Snow Leopard with Instadmg rc1 and I was wondering whether any of you have experienced this…error.

To reproduce, create an image of the Snow Leopard install DVD and stick it in the BaseOS folder (no InstallerChoices.xml file was used to reproduce this error) and run the bash script (after disabling chroot jail). The cached image that comes out (something like 977CE522.dmg) when mounted will show all folders even hidden ones. At first I thought that’s how the cached images are supposed to look but apparently this carries over into the actual output image (didn’t happen with the Leopard image). While this isn’t THAT big of an issue, the killer problem is that when booted on that image, running a Fix Permission from Disk Utility comes up with the following error:

“No Installer packages can be found for this disk”. and fails promptly.

Ok it’s not really a “killer problem” but it’s suggesting that the install failed somewhere and nothing on the install logs suggest where.

    Any insight?
