Is there a way to do a manual migration of the iCal server and wiki data from a 10.5 server to 10.6? I have a server that I’m moving to 10.6 that might have been compromised by a rogue employee so an upgrade is not an option.

Did you find anything out on this? I’m still Googling.

    Thanks,

The only thing I have found but haven’t tried is scripts in the /System/Library/ServerSetup/MigrationExtras

I’m guessing they are the ones that are used if you do an upgrade or migration.

Have you looked at the Upgrading_and_Migrating_v10.6 documentation, it runs you through a manual migration using the tools you mention in /System/Library/ServerSetup/MigrationExtras. Should have everything you need.

    Cheers

I’ve looked at the Upgrading and Migrating v10.6 documentation and they seem to talk about everything except wiki and iCal server migration. I’m I missing something in the documetation?

Just did this recently. I made a backup of OD and copied all the wiki and ical files. The wiki’s all copied fine but I had some trouble the the calendars. I currently only use the calendar for the wikis so I’m not sure if it will cause problems with the personal calendars.
