We’re experimenting with 10.4 server since computer lists are completely hosed on 10.3… What exactly does it mean to upgrade legacy groups in the workgroup manager in 10.4? I noticed the current AD groups don’t come up with the names and when I add a user to an AD group, itfills in all the info… but I’m wary to upgrade groups because we’re still at 10.3 for all but this test server and the AD is used by several windows servers.

    Anyways… thanks for reading

I have the same question. I am running 10.3.9 server, and just now upgraded some of my clients to 10.4.6. I’ve had a number of problems with this new configuration.

One thing I would like to try is to “upgrade legacy groups”, from within Workgroup Manager. However, I still have many 10.3.9 clients that use this OD

Does anyone know what this does and how it will affect my 10.4 or 10.3 clients!

    Thanks,

    Jonathan Konrad
