I’m able to bind OS X 10.3.8 clients to our AD domain though we use NTLMv2 only, SMB signing, etc. I believe that this didn’t work in the recent past when I tried it. Can anyone confirm this? Thanks.

I know ADmitMac will do that. I’ve tested it. I’m speaking of the built-in Apple AD plugin for DA. Has anyone else noticed that it seems to be working with NTLMv2 now?

Ok I’m an idiot. My apple rep corrected my ignorance.

“Active Directory Plugin does not use or need NTLMv2, ever. The Active Directory plug-in uses LDAP to access the Active Directory user accounts and Kerberos to authenticate them.”
